Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Manager to lead a team of CAD professionals and ensure excellence in configuration management, drafting, and documentation. This role is key to supporting engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain operations in a fast-paced, innovation-driven energy solutions environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate CAD activities for rotating equipment and complex systems.
- Oversee the creation, modification, and management of models and drawings using Creo and Windchill PLM/PDM.
- Ensure all CAD work complies with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage Bills of Material (BOMs) in line with engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.
- Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Notices (ECNs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure alignment.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to CAD team members.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in CAD and configuration management within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Proficiency with Creo, SolidWorks, and Windchill PLM/PDM.
- Strong knowledge of BOM management and engineering change processes.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Must have U.S. work authorization (no visa sponsorship available).
- Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
