We are seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead and deliver complex transportation projects for a well-established engineering firm. This role combines technical expertise, project leadership, and client management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with community needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams, reviewing work for quality and compliance
• Act as the primary client contact, building strong stakeholder relationships
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and scopes to ensure project success
• Coordinate with DOTs, agencies, subcontractors, and community stakeholders
• Prepare proposals, present to clients, and represent projects at public meetings
• Provide technical expertise in traffic engineering and transportation design

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of experience in transportation engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Proficiency in transportation design tools: Synchro, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, VISSIM, etc.
• Strong knowledge of DOT standards, permitting, and ADA guidelines
• Proven ability to manage transportation projects from start to finish
