Commercial Construction Project Manager
Job Description
We’re hiring a Project Manager to lead full-cycle commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive leader with a strong track record in managing complex scopes, coordinating with subcontractors, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
As the central point of communication between clients, architects, field teams, and internal staff, you’ll ensure alignment, quality, and consistency at every phase—from handoff to warranty.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day construction operations alongside superintendents and internal teams
- Serve as primary contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline
- Monitor schedules, resolve issues proactively, and maintain quality control
- Lead project documentation, reporting, and closeout
- Uphold safety and compliance standards at all times
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong professional relationships
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Proven ability to lead complex builds and maintain client relationships
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and jobsite operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Familiarity with project management tools (Primavera, Viewpoint, PlanGrid – preferred)
- Prior experience in healthcare construction (clinics, hospitals, renovations) is a plus
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
