Job Description
We’re hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead critical site operations for a global industrial materials company powering the transition to a low-carbon future. Based in San Bernardino County, this is a hands-on supervisory role for a skilled technician or engineer ready to lead maintenance and commissioning efforts across high-voltage systems, instrumentation, and control infrastructure.
You’ll lead daily activities across electrical and instrumentation (E&I) teams—ensuring high safety standards, system reliability, and maintenance best practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise E&I maintenance operations, including troubleshooting, inspection, and repairs
- Lead and train a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs, calibrations, and high-voltage testing
- Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and plant operations on system upgrades
- Support technical documentation, equipment records, and reliability initiatives
- Play a key role in commissioning activities for electrical systems and controls
- Drive continuous improvement across productivity, quality, and team development
What You Bring
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting (e.g. mining, energy, chemicals)
- Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
- Experience working with high-voltage DC systems and distribution infrastructure
- Understanding of NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and applicable electrical safety regulations
- Effective communicator and team leader with hands-on technical capability
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site full-time
- Comfortable working in chemical plant or high-hazard industrial environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per year
