Job Description

We’re hiring an Electrical & Instrumentation Supervisor to lead critical site operations for a global industrial materials company powering the transition to a low-carbon future. Based in San Bernardino County, this is a hands-on supervisory role for a skilled technician or engineer ready to lead maintenance and commissioning efforts across high-voltage systems, instrumentation, and control infrastructure.

You’ll lead daily activities across electrical and instrumentation (E&I) teams—ensuring high safety standards, system reliability, and maintenance best practices in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise E&I maintenance operations, including troubleshooting, inspection, and repairs
  • Lead and train a team of electrical and instrumentation technicians
  • Oversee preventive maintenance programs, calibrations, and high-voltage testing
  • Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, construction, and plant operations on system upgrades
  • Support technical documentation, equipment records, and reliability initiatives
  • Play a key role in commissioning activities for electrical systems and controls
  • Drive continuous improvement across productivity, quality, and team development

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in an industrial setting (e.g. mining, energy, chemicals)
  • Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and controls
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
  • Experience working with high-voltage DC systems and distribution infrastructure
  • Understanding of NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and applicable electrical safety regulations
  • Effective communicator and team leader with hands-on technical capability
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site full-time
  • Comfortable working in chemical plant or high-hazard industrial environments
