Job Description
We are hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and compliance of rotating equipment systems. This leadership position requires a highly technical professional who understands global industry standards and can drive engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across design, quality, and operations teams.
You will oversee new product development, manage engineering standards, and serve as a key technical liaison with internal teams, customers, and third-party partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and evolve internal engineering standards to align with API, ISO, ASTM, NACE, and other codes
- Oversee all design activities, ensuring quality compliance and coordination with external partners
- Lead new product development and customized engineering solutions, including final approval of design packages
- Support the creation and updating of technical documentation such as maintenance manuals
- Evaluate and implement system upgrades for performance or compliance, including pressure ratings and mechanical enhancements
- Manage quality assurance programs and R&D efforts focused on improving product reliability
- Deliver technical training and coaching across engineering and operations teams
- Conduct root cause analyses, performance investigations, and design change evaluations
- Audit complex assemblies and support repair validation and redesigns
- Collaborate with sales teams during pre-sale consultations, technical support, and on-site evaluations
- Lead customer-facing technical meetings and facility tours when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 8 years of experience in mechanical systems, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial machinery
- Minimum 3 years of direct involvement in repair, investigation, and root cause analysis
- Proven leadership experience in managing engineering or technical teams
- Skilled in interpreting and creating component and assembly-level schematics
- Familiarity with major industry codes and standards including API, ISO, and ASME
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in machining or foundry operations
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality systems and lean manufacturing methods
- Knowledge of centrifugal pump design and API 610 compliance
- Exposure to design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, ANSYS CFX, or Fluent
