A rapidly growing provider of waste-to-energy solutions is seeking a Feedstock Sales Manager to drive the expansion of its organics recycling and renewable energy initiatives. The company partners with farms, food producers, and industrial facilities to convert organic waste into renewable energy, supporting sustainability goals and emissions reductions. As part of its national growth strategy, this role will focus on securing organic feedstock streams to support renewable energy projects. The Feedstock Sales Manager will be responsible for sourcing and securing organic waste materials from industrial, commercial, and agricultural partners. This role requires strong business development skills, market expertise, and the ability to cultivate long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience in the waste management, anaerobic digestion, or renewable natural gas (RNG) industries and be familiar with feedstock origination, regulatory considerations, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure organic feedstock sources within an assigned region
  • Develop relationships with food processors, manufacturers, and agricultural partners to establish long-term supply agreements
  • Engage in consultative sales to understand client needs and create customized waste diversion solutions
  • Prospect and negotiate contracts with stakeholders ranging from operational managers to C-suite executives
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging feedstock opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and trade events to promote awareness and expand the network of suppliers
  • Manage sales pipeline and CRM tracking (Salesforce experience preferred) to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure a seamless feedstock acquisition process
  • Adapt pricing and procurement strategies to align with fluctuating market conditions and sustainability goals

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, procurement, or business development
  • Industry experience in waste management, anaerobic digestion, organics recycling, or RNG is required
  • Proven ability to develop and close complex sales agreements
  • Strong understanding of feedstock markets, waste hauling, and sustainability regulations
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach
  • Ability to travel 40% or more
