About the Role

We’re hiring a Financial Analyst – Commercial to join a fast-paced, high-impact Commercial Finance team within a leading Oil & Gas company. This hybrid role is based in Houston, TX and is ideal for a data-savvy finance professional with strong FP&A and financial modeling expertise.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with commercial leaders to drive performance through forecasting, pricing strategy, and market analysis—helping shape investment decisions and improve profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across commercial business units
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to assess business performance and growth scenarios
  • Automate reporting and enhance visual insights using Power BI and Alteryx
  • Conduct variance and trend analysis; recommend strategies to improve financial outcomes
  • Prepare executive-facing presentations and dashboards for leadership review
  • Support pricing strategy, margin analysis, and new business cases

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA a plus)
  • 3+ years of FP&A or commercial finance experience
  • Advanced financial modeling skills; strong command of Excel and BI tools
  • Experience with Power BI and/or Alteryx strongly preferred
  • Prior exposure to Oil & Gas, Energy, or other capital-intensive industries
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence
  • Local to Houston (this role is not remote)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: Up to $115,000
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus
  • Schedule: Hybrid role based in Houston
