Job Description
We are hiring an Industrial Engineer on behalf of a rapidly scaling advanced manufacturing company developing a next-generation facility for complex materials and precision components. Their work supports critical industries such as electric vehicles, energy infrastructure, and national defense. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven team focused on innovation and building U.S.-based manufacturing capacity.
In this role, you will take ownership of layout planning, workflow design, and process optimization across a state-of-the-art facility. You’ll work closely with engineers and operations leaders to increase efficiency and drive continuous improvement within a semi-continuous batch manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze facility layout and optimize workflows across pressing, sintering, cutting, and machining
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance production throughput and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, and materials disciplines
- Support standard operating procedures and operational systems in a fast-growing facility
- Act as a leader in process improvement across complex manufacturing operations
Ideal Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or process engineering within a manufacturing setting
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Proven track record in plant layout optimization, workflow design, and process improvements
- Experience working in metallurgy, ceramics, aerospace, or advanced materials is highly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment and lead strategic engineering initiatives
