Key Requirements:
- Must have over 1 GW of PV sales experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Manage customer relationships and identify new business opportunities within a multi-state territory.
- Drive sales and solidify the company’s position as a market leader in the region.
- Directly sell modules to integrators, EPCs, developers, financiers, and independent power producers (IPPs).
Client Engagement
- Build strong, binding relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and position solutions effectively.
- Meet and engage with prospects and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships.
Lead Generation and Strategy
- Identify and contact new leads using multiple sources, including trade publications.
- Develop and execute account penetration strategies to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
Territory Management and Performance
- Meet or exceed targets for sales volume, revenue, gross margin, and market share growth.
- Collect and share market intelligence and competitive insights to inform marketing strategies and business development efforts.
Sales Cycle Oversight
- Oversee the complete sales cycle for PV products, ensuring proper integration into small utility, commercial & industrial, and residential sectors.
- Provide project-specific support packages tailored to technical and financial project needs.
Job Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Business Management, Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
Experience:
- 6+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, including achieving over 1 GW of PV sales.
Skills:
- Sales experience in solar PV, energy storage, and related new energy industries preferred.
- Ability to find and sell to new prospects, identify decision-makers, navigate complex deals, and negotiate commercial terms for supply contracts.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in team environments.
Languages:
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or additional foreign languages is a plus.
