Maintenance Manager – Facilities & Manufacturing | Dallas-Fort Worth

We’re partnering with a client in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex to hire an experienced Maintenance Manager. This leadership role oversees plant and equipment performance, drives preventive maintenance programs, and ensures safety while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee all plant maintenance activities to ensure reliability of machines and equipment
• Manage the maintenance work order system, assigning and tracking tasks to completion
• Lead facility maintenance across power, water, air, materials handling, and building systems
• Request and manage tools, equipment, and supplies for smooth operations
• Conduct monthly safety walk-throughs with leadership and enforce safety protocols
• Monitor predictive and preventive maintenance schedules to maximize uptime
• Provide safety training on Lockout/Tagout, crane use, confined space, and lift operations
• Review production, quality, and maintenance data to identify improvement opportunities
• Inspect operating machinery for safety and operational compliance
• Participate in new product planning to assess equipment needs and modifications
• Generate purchase orders and manage RFQ processes
• Maintain company vehicles, including powered industrial trucks
• Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing maintenance leadership
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work within a network environment
• Effective communicator across all levels of an organization
• Analytical and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Experience applying production metrics, rates, and cycle times to maintenance planning
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., with moderate bending, twisting, and walking
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends when needed
