A fast-growing, investor-backed environmental services company is seeking a National Account Manager to lead business development efforts for waste diversion and recycling solutions. As part of a newly built commercial team, you’ll have the autonomy to shape your strategy, build custom client programs, and operate with a broker-style approach.

This role offers the rare chance to join early, scale a national book of business, and work directly with executive leadership on high-impact initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing strategic accounts
  • Develop waste-to-value and recycling programs for industrial and commercial clients
  • Build relationships across sectors like manufacturing, logistics, retail, and food & beverage
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless program execution
  • Drive profitable growth and margin retention across all deals
  • Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset to scale innovative solutions

What You Bring

  • Experience in business development or national account sales within waste, recycling, or environmental services
  • Proven success securing and expanding commercial client relationships
  • Understanding of brokered waste solutions and sustainability-driven programs
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, dynamic environment
  • Based in the Midwest or East Coast with willingness to travel as needed
