We are hiring a Project Manager for our client, a global leader in industrial materials essential to the modern economy and carbon reduction. Their products play a critical role in low-carbon, electrified technologies found in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and more.
Ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of project management experience, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership, collaborate with industry leaders, and grow with a company expanding to meet the demand for sustainable innovation. You’ll work closely with internal teams, design firms, OEMs, EPC contractors, and service providers to drive successful project execution from conception to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primary accountability for the execution of assigned projects throughout their lifecycle.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Project Management processes and procedures.
- Monitoring and managing engineering, procurement, and construction progress, and developing strategies to mitigate project risks and areas of concern.
- Examining and advising on proposed alterations to the project scope to assess their validity and potential impact, then ensuring their efficient and cost-conscious integration upon approval.
- Effectively and transparently communicating with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity and conciseness in all aspects of project delivery.
- Assisting in conceptualizing and developing upcoming projects, which involves spearheading discussions with potential contractors and vendors, as well as estimating anticipated costs and timelines for prospective projects.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline, along with 3-5+ years of experience in a project leadership role within industrial and high-tech manufacturing environments. Capital project experience and familiarity with commissioning and start-up processes are preferred.
