Job Description

We’re seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing technical team in Tennessee. You’ll collaborate across teams to improve equipment uptime, drive process efficiency, and support long-term plant performance in a world-class manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead site-wide reliability and maintenance programs to maximize uptime and safety.
  • Conduct and coordinate fixed equipment inspections (vessels, tanks, exchangers, etc.) with third parties.
  • Analyze inspection findings, implement immediate repairs, and plan long-term schedules.
  • Develop and update site policies and procedures to support reliability goals.
  • Provide technical expertise for projects, including calculations, equipment sizing, and installation support.
  • Perform root cause analysis on failures and implement engineered solutions.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and leadership to align performance and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of equipment conditions, specifications, and safety devices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
  • 5+ years’ experience in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of fixed equipment (tanks, vessels, exchangers).
  • Background in rotating equipment and long-term reliability solutions.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; reliability software experience a plus.
