Job Description

We are currently looking to hire a Senior Process Engineer to join our client’s engineering team based in Canonsburg, PA. This candidate will be exposed to our client’s diverse portfolio of plants and support in making cost-effective and efficient decisions to improve plant processes within the biogas sector. This is a key role in an exciting, heavily invested renewable energy business with operations across the US.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background within process engineering in a similar industry. Renewable energy is preferred but also open to chemical manufacturing, oil & gas, or an industrial plant environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer technical assistance to gas facility operations by overseeing the performance and reliability of gas conditioning and processing facilities, ensuring consistent gas delivery in accordance with tariff regulations.
  • Identify and develop cost-effective solutions to address operational problems.
  • Develop design concepts and process designs aimed at improving system deliverability and reliability.
  • Create and manage technical process specifications and integrity plans for natural gas conditioning equipment and systems.
  • Validate vendor equipment sizing and verify third-party engineering calculations.
  • Develop PFDs and P&IDs for modifications of existing natural gas storage plants and the development of new ones.
  • Participate in PHAs and PSSRs.
  • Write process descriptions and assist in developing project Design Basis Memorandums and operating procedures for gas conditioning and processing systems.

To be successful in the role, you will need to hold a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. You will also need 5+ years of process engineering experience within a similar field.
