We are currently looking to hire a Vice President, Electrical Solutions for one of our clients. The client is a leading provider of engineering and electrical solutions, specializing in photovoltaic power systems and renewable energy projects across various market sectors.

This leadership role will be responsible for driving electrical engineering excellence, overseeing complex solar power system projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in power system studies, and the ability to assess and resolve operational challenges within solar plants. This is a highly strategic position requiring expertise in project execution, subcontractor coordination, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct power system studies to ensure safe and efficient solar plant operations.
• Develop innovative, code-compliant solutions for photovoltaic power systems.
• Oversee engineering calculations, code analysis, reports, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates.
• Manage and coordinate subcontractor selection, qualification, and execution of electrical engineering projects.
• Serve as the Electrical Project Engineer on assigned projects, ensuring accurate development of project assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering and business development teams to enhance project execution and drive commercial success.
• Provide leadership in sales efforts, supporting business growth initiatives.
• Participate in client and contractor meetings, ensuring strong communication and project alignment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of progressive design and project management experience, including experience in power system studies.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power system software, national codes, and safety standards.
• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality project execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders effectively.
